Panadol and 7 News.com.au have come together to recognize and highlight those in our communities who go above and beyond the expected and provide extraordinary care.
One of the people nominated is Margie Cerato.
Margie is the president and founder of both Vibes Fitness and Celebrating Abilities, a Melbourne-based not-for-profit organization that increases ability awareness in the greater community while making a real difference in the lives of disabled adults and children, whether it’s whether it is physical, acquired, intellectual or emotional.
The program, available to children, adults, elderly, and caregivers, supports the overall wellness of both participants and caregivers with mental health and wellness programs, fitness and exercise, rehabilitation, wellness coaching, mindfulness and meditation, personal training, circus aerial fitness (popular with children and adults alike) and much more.
Margie says she loves what she does and doesn’t consider it work as she juggles long hours every day over the last nine years with her business and the charity.
“It’s often seven days a week,” says Margie. “I just feel so blessed that I’m able to help.”
Even during COVID, when rent relief became an issue, and Margie’s studio was relocated, nothing slowed her momentum. She’s constantly learning and upskilling to provide the best possible care for her clients.
“Through the Panadol Care Collective, we wanted to give back to those selfless Aussies who have gone above and beyond to help ease the pain of others,” says Panadol spokesperson James Meins.
Margie was awarded a holiday break for a refreshing, recharging and taking time for herself.
More than a trusted household name for pain relief, Panadol supports Australians in overcoming life’s daily headaches, big and small, in pursuit of better care for themselves and those around them.
